Katron provides CNC Multiaxis Machining, Production & Prototype of Precision Components.
Katron Engineering Precision Ltd is a long-established family company, founded in 1942 by Mr Ronald Groves as a result of working with Mr George Dowty and the Dowty Group.
In 1981 Katron was the first company in the UK to purchase from Elgar Machine Tools, London, a Mazak CNC QT10 machine with Mazatrol T1 control from the Yamazaki family and we have continued to build on this partnership to this day.
Katron today is still run by the Groves family and continues to invest in its dedicated CNC technicians, works personnel and the most advanced manufacturing machining techniques and technology on the market.
Katron has over 75 years of steady expansion and progression, three generations on, it has emerged as a leading UK hi-tech company in multiaxis machining, with a 100% commitment to quality, research and development for our customers' precision components for a more competitive world.
